How to pay with crypto (Aurpay)
Why this matters: Small payments like $7–$15 often fail or cost too much on Bitcoin or Ethereum. Aurpay lets you pay with faster, cheaper coins so checkout is smooth.
Which coin should I choose?
On Coinbase (most people): pick USDC (ERC20). It always works there; network fees run $3–$10.
Want the lowest fees? pick USDT (TRC20) — usually under $1, but you need a wallet or exchange that supports Tron (KuCoin, Binance, TrustWallet).
New to this? Ignore the rest (BEP20, BNB, BTC Lightning) — advanced-only, and not supported on Coinbase.
Getting the coin
Brand new: buy a small amount of USDC (ERC20) with USD inside your exchange (e.g., Coinbase). Already hold Bitcoin or Ethereum: convert a small amount to USDC/USDT inside your exchange — usually instant. (Note: crypto-to-crypto swaps can be a taxable event in some jurisdictions.)
⚠️ Check how your platform handles the network fee
What matters is that the amount which actually reaches us equals the quote — otherwise the order won’t complete. Platforms do this two opposite ways:
Fee added on top (e.g. Coinbase): it shows a slightly higher total that already includes the fee, and we receive the full amount — just pay.
Fee taken out of what you send (e.g. Webot / Pionex): the recipient gets less than you enter (Webot labels it “That address will get”). Raise your send amount so the received amount equals the quote.
Either way the fee goes to your platform/network — not to us.
Match coin + network exactly
If Aurpay shows USDT • TRC20, send USDT on the TRC20 network. If it shows USDC • ERC20, send USDC on Ethereum. Crypto payments are irreversible — double-check the address and network before sending. Wrong network = lost payment.
Step-by-step (Coinbase example)
At checkout, select Aurpay and pick a listed coin (e.g., USDC-ERC20).
In Coinbase, tap Buy (or Convert if you already have crypto). Choose the same coin and network.
Copy the address from Aurpay and paste it into Coinbase. Send enough that the amount which arrives equals the quote — if your platform takes its fee out of the amount you send, add the fee on top.
Wait for confirmation. That’s it.
Is sending to a wallet safe?
Yes — sending to the address shown at checkout is exactly how crypto is designed to work.
Addresses are public; keys are private. Sending to a public address is safe. Never share your private key, seed phrase, or 2FA codes — we will never ask for them.
Using an exchange like Coinbase? You never touch keys at all — just pick the correct coin and network when sending.
